Student Leadership
CTS provides opportunity for students to develop their leadership skills by serving as a member of the Student Association Council, Student Missions Association, Student Ministry Committee or as a Resident Assistant. In the spring semester, the student body elects the leadership of student committees to serve the following year. The administration reserves the right to appoint new members to fill any vacancy in the student committees.
STUDENT ASSOCIATION COUNCIL The Student Association Council (SAC) consists of a president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. SAC exists to assist the seminary in addressing student concerns. SAC organizes cell groups and prayer meetings throughout the year. SAC also arranges for student outings, shopping trips, sport events, social activities, and major seminary events such as the Social Evening and the Christmas Banquet. STUDENT MISSIONS ASSOCIATION The Student Missions Association (SMA) consists of the CTS student body and is directed by a student leadership committee. The Student Missions Association seeks to inspire missionary interest among the student body. SMA's responsibilities include organizing the annual CTS Missions Convention held each fall, missions chapels, assisting students who wish to become involved in summer missions project, and collecting missionary offerings to fund missions projects. STUDENT MINISTRY COMMITTEE The Student Ministry Committee (SMC) consists of the CTS student body and is directed by a student leadership committee. The Student Ministry Committee co-ordinates all aspects of the student ministry program including weekly student ministries each semester and Student Ministry Week in the spring semester.
